Privacy Policy — Pricing Engine
Last updated: August 1, 2026
Pricing Engine ("the App") is a Shopify embedded application that helps merchants configure quantity-based product pricing. This policy explains what data we process when a merchant installs the App.
Who we are
The App is operated for merchant use on Shopify. Contact: support@rekazdigital.com
Data we process
- Shop identifiers — Shopify shop domain and session tokens needed to authenticate Admin API requests.
- Pricing configuration — rules, quantity tiers, and product/variant references the merchant creates in the App.
- Billing metadata — plan selection and related Shopify charge identifiers when Shopify Billing is enabled.
The App does not intentionally collect or store customer personal information (names, emails, phone numbers, or order PII) for its core pricing features.
How we use data
We use shop and pricing data only to:
- Authenticate the merchant and keep the App working
- Save and publish the merchant's pricing rules to Shopify
- Enforce optional subscription limits when billing is enabled
Data storage and retention
Data is stored on our hosting infrastructure (application server and PostgreSQL database). When a merchant uninstalls the App, Shopify sends a shop/redact webhook after the required waiting period; we then delete remaining shop data from our systems. We also respond to Shopify mandatory compliance webhooks for customer data requests and redaction.
Sharing
We do not sell merchant or customer data. Data is shared with Shopify as required to operate the App through Shopify APIs, and with infrastructure providers solely to host and run the service.
Security
Access tokens and app secrets are kept server-side. Webhook deliveries are verified using Shopify HMAC validation.
Your rights
Merchants may uninstall the App at any time. For privacy requests related to data we store, contact support@rekazdigital.com. Customer requests directed to a store are handled through Shopify's compliance webhook flow.
Changes
We may update this policy as the App evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
